What distinguishes Caretech from our competitors?
We believe that Quality and Price are the Big Issues!1. We are independent - we have no ties to manufacturers or distributors so we can purchase the most appropriate equipment for you from the most appropriate manufacturers.
2. We have 30 home based engineers all around London, the South East, the South of England, South Midlands and East Anglia and are expanding our ‘patch’ constantly.
3. Our engineers are fully trained and updated across all manufacturers’ products.
4. Engineers are home-based so they are LOCAL to your site.
5. Training is an on-going procedure and our engineers are continually being brought up to date with the latest equipment.
6. We don't just cover hoists, but also maintain baths, beds, platform lifts, physiotherapy equipment, patient trolleys and stairlifts.
7. We load test according to British standards and the LOLER regulation.
8. We use test weights which give a true full travel test. We do not use load cells or balances which only test at a single point.
9. We carry out Safe Hot Water and Surface Temperature tests together with Cold Water failure.
10. The engineers are part of our ISO 9001:2000 registration.
11. All engineers have fully equipped vans.
12. Each van carries a representative stock covering the wide range of products we come across.
13. Engineers undergo training courses on all the products they may see, not just a single range that a company manufactures.
14. Engineers work to fully documented maintenance schedules.
15. A written report / certificate is given for each piece of equipment.
16. Our documentation maintains trace-ability.
17. Training records are kept for each engineer.
18. Engineers carry all necessary Technical manuals
19. Engineers carry all Part Listings.
20. Engineers are kept conversant with all Health and Safety Bulletins.
21. Engineers work is regularly checked by senior managers to ensure Quality is maintained.
22. All test equipment is fully calibrated and certified.
23. Our engineers are covered by £10,000,000 of Public and Product Liability.
24. Our work force is of a size which ensures continuity of cover in the event of holidays or sickness.
25. All engineers carry Identity cards, are CRB checked and wear our standard uniform.
26. The documentation we provide covers the requirements of LOLER.
27. Because we are an independent company, without the overheads of manufacturing, sales, marketing and research etc., our costs are lower than our competitors, allowing us to pass this saving to the customer.
28. Caretech Engineers do not have financial targets to achieve, so there is no pressure to fit unnecessary parts.
